Return to Arran 2018

In 2018, I met up with Ken and Margaret Jefferies on the Isle of Arran. We toured around and visited some points of historical interest before heading to the local graveyard, where many of the Stewarts are buried.  This visit prompted a second visit, which also acted as a mini family reunion. In attendance were Ken and Margaret, myself and my partner Phylip, Isobel Stanley Strachan and Dee Ann Stanley Laue who were visiting from California, USA, my cousin Mark Strachan and his kids Beth and Max, Rose Gavin and her daughter Lesley and her son Leo. It was an amazing opportunity for generations to bond, while we remembered Sarah Heaney's life on Arran.
